I started out like most people. I knew I was a little overweight. I knew I should probably eat better. I had been active in high school and college but since then and definitely after having a family, my daily activity consisted of chasing kids around which, although seemingly exhausting, honestly probably doesn’t do much in the way of caloric burn.
My wife started training with TJ about a month before I did and saw dramatic results even in that short time. Being the competitive guy I am, I felt I had to at least try to keep up with her so I took on the challenge as well. My goals were to increase strength and lose fat. Over the course of 10 months I lost about 60 lbs, dropped 2 sizes in shirts and pants, worked my way up to a 275lb deadlift and learned how to eat healthy while not feeling hungry.
TJ is more than a trainer—he’s a teacher. More than anything, he wants you to learn how to take care of yourself in the best and most long-lasting way possible. He’s done that for me and I can’t thank him enough for it.
